The area

Les Menuires boasts a fantastic location in Les Trois Vallées, the largest interconnected ski area in the world, with 650 km of slopes and 200 ski lifts. Those staying in Les Menuires can use this as a base to ski and snowboard to Saint Martin, Val Thorens, Orelle, Meribel, Courchevel, La Tania and Bride-les-Bain.

Saint Martin, Les Menuires and Val Thorens are all located in the valley of Vallée des Belleville, an area which is home to an impressive 300 km of slopes and 63 ski lifts. The ski area ranges from 1800 meters to an altitude of 3200 meters (the Cime Caron cable car’s ultimate destination).

Our chalet enjoys a very convenient location on the slope which ends at the Bettex ski lift, which will take you to the centre of Les Menuires, where the multitude of lifts will provide you with access to the entire ski area. There are plenty of blue slopes for beginners, but there are a number of red and black ones for the more experienced and advanced skiers too. Those skiers who prefer to go a little bit further could use the Trois Vallees to ski to the cosy Meribel / Courchevel to enjoy some lunch. Beginners can use the practice area with a roller track around the corner. Our younger guests can have a fantastic time playing in the snow with a sled in the chalet’s immediate vicinity.

You will find a self-service sales point for ski passes, only suitable for credit/debit card payments, at the bottom of the Bettex ski slope at the entrance to the ski lift.

Club Piou Piou in La Croisette is the perfect place for those very first ski lessons for children aged 3 and above. A well-organised and protected place, which playfully introduces children to the snow and skiing. They offer a daycare facility for children from 3 months old as well.

Les Menuires also offers a variety of activities other than skiing. You could, for example, enjoy a guided walk in the snow with snowshoes, tours with snowmobiles and swimming/sauna and/or fitness in Centre Sportif in Les Menuires.

You will find a great selection of restaurants near the chalet too, including La Table des Marmottes, La Ruade, La Haut, Vallée Gourmande and Le Birstro des Cimes. You also have the option of taking the passenger lift (open from 8.00 to 23.00 hours) to La Croisette, where you’ll find even more restaurants.

Carrefour Montagne and Sherpa Preyerand are the nearest supermarkets. The baker will come and see you upon arrival, who will subsequently deliver any required bread and rolls to you every morning throughout your stay.
